• All Pulling Meet Recap

The genesis for last weekend’s All Pulling Meet was a comment on Facebook by Adam Glass. The suggestion was for a meet consisting of all pulls: 2″ dumbbell snatch, clean, 2″ axle deadlift, 3″ axle deadlift, and a Dinnie lift. I loved the idea immediately, but didn’t get a chance to schedule it until recently.

I tend to be a passionate evangelist for anyone and anything I believe in. You can’t talk to me for 5 minutes about dogs without me convincing you that you need to feed your dog raw food, preferably from Woody’s. I’ve been a die-hard Mac evangelist since before it was cool — in fact, it was the

  • Dellanavich Say: No Pain, No Gains?

“No pain, no gain,” right? Working out has to be hard, and it’s going to hurt otherwise you’re not really doing anything productive. This makes for nice motivational posters, but doesn’t mesh with reality. Pain is an action signal to stop something! “Take that hand off the hot stove!” In fact, it’s awfully hard to

Apparently, in Dellanavia there are no awards for effort – only for results. Those who work smarter, not harder, truly are rewarded. In any case, I will let
