Erika is a licensed physical therapist working in orthopedics and sports medicine. She received her B.S. in exercise science from Montana State University, where she was actively involved in exercise research and outdoor sports. She later went on to receive her clinical doctorate in physical therapy from the Mayo Clinic, and has additional training in the manual therapies, functional training, and sports rehabilitation.

She has been an active member of The Movement Minneapolis since the beginning of 2011 and has attended Gym Movement courses in BioMech 1 (physique transformation), BioMech 2 (performance enhancement), and BioMech 3 (pain resolution). She incorporates the Gym Movement protocol into clients’ training programs, as well as for her own fitness and lifestyle goals.

Erika’s primary focus is to help clients return to their chosen sport, recreational activities, or day-to-day life without the limitation of pain or injury. Hearing the words “my doctor said I will never be able to do that again” is what motivates her to find a solution to get her clients back to the lifestyle they had prior to injury.

When not treating clients or working out, Erika can be found outside skydiving, alpine and Nordic skiing, or hiking and camping back home in Montana with family.
