He also helped create a series of educational materials for the Institute of Functional Medicine, Functional Medicine South Africa, and Metagenics, training doctors and patients in the theories of Functional Medicine and long-term lifestyle change.
He is a certified personal trainer through NASM, and his clients have a wide range of health and fitness goals.
Though his educational background is varied, Mark points to a common theme of finding underlying patterns in clients’ behavior and their physical expression of self. He uses whatever combination of means necessary to support their success, whether they’re working to overcome physical complaints, nutritional deficiencies or behavioral roadblocks.
His favorite lift is the Steinborn squat, and if you don’t know how to do it, he will teach you within minutes of meeting you.
He is currently accepting clients for distance coaching.
